This safety razor kit consists of several parts which when assembled for a razor. The razor itself consists of a handle with female screw thread, a safety plate and a top with male screw thread that holds the device together. The blade itself is still in its original paper packet and the tin consist of two parts, the tin itself and a tray which can be removed to store extra blades underneath.
These razor sets were issued to Australian soldiers during the Second World War. They were small and compact making for easy storage. This razor was given to William Franklin Cook after he was rejected from enlistment.
