This uniform is anAustralian 1942 economy pattern service dress worn by a member of the British and Commonwealth Occupation Forces in Japan after the Second World War. Although the piece is unnamed, clues on the uniform would suggest that it likely belonged to Lieutenant (Later major) Ernest Marshall MM.
