Developed using the United States HBT fabric, this jungle green blouses were developed for use in tropical climates in the latter half of the Second World War. However, they only saw very limited use in that conflict, as blouses were generally not worn in the field due to the heat and humidity. Despite this, they saw a comeback in the Korean War when they were issued extensively to the men of 3RAR throughout the first year of that conflict.
