The following images were collected from 4 groupings of photographs believed to have belonged to the same sailor. Although he has not yet been fully identified we know that his name was Brian and he served as an Air Artificer on the HMAS Sydney between 1951-52, during its first tour of the Korean War.
The photos show The Sydney through its service in Korea, Japan, with withstanding Typhoon Ruth, the Suez Canal and Scotland.
