This Jacket is an unknown example most likely from the Second World War. it was produced by the Melbourne MTX factory though does not comply with other examples of khaki drill jackets of the period. research is ongoing

Below is a comparison to the standard Khaki Jacket seen in the period. Note the stand collar as opposed to the fall collar, the lack of pointed cuffs and scalloped shaped pocket flaps as opposed to the rounded pocket flaps which were a trademark of the Australian production.
