BACK (COLLECTION SPOTLIGHT) (1950s) BACK

Designed to be used with the Pattern 1950 winter uniform, this British army middle parka saw extensive service during the Korean War. It was widely issued to Commonwealth troops from mid-November 1951 and used through to 1956. It was later replaced by a second pattern which added chest pockets.
