BACK (COLLECTION SPOTLIGHT) (1950s) BACK

This Type 50 jacket is the variant issued to Chinese officers between 1950-1955. Although there is no strong provenance behind this particular piece, it is the same style worn by many during the Korean War as members of the Peoples Volunteer Army. This particular example is original, though the original markings have worn off, and the piece may have been used as a film costume at some point.
